Membrance filter element
-
A membrane filter element is a cartridge or module whose core filtering material is a semi-permeable membrane. This membrane is a thin, engineered material with specific, microscopic pores.
The primary principle is physical separation: particles or molecules larger than the pore size are retained on the surface or within the pores of the membrane, while smaller particles (like the liquid or gas solvent) pass through.
Characteristics
1.Pore Size (Micron Rating):up 1 micron
This is the most critical specification. Membrane pore sizes are categorized, which determines what they can remove.
2.Absolute Rating:Unlike depth filters, membranes typically have an absolute pore size rating, meaning they will retain virtually 100% of particles larger than the specified size.
3.Material:SS 316 , 316L , Monel ,Hastalloy and so on .
4.Speciafication are customized.
